I’ve just installed your plugin and wanted to copy my .htaccess file before proceeding with the settings, but I get this message when I try to do so:

Warning: copy(/home/*****/public_html/*****.com/.htaccess) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/*****/public_html/*****.com/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/classes/wp-security-utility-file.php on line 49

I was able to backup the DB and wp-config with no problem. I would be grateful if you could advise how to resolve this.

The plugin thinks you don’t have a .htaccess file.
Do you actually have a .htaccess in the the root directory of your WordPress installation?

If so, what are the permission settings of this file?

Thanks for your prompt response. When I posted the topic I had tried several times to make it work, but it seems to have sorted itself out now and is working fine.

Sorry to have bothered you! 🙂
