Hi luismas89,
Thank you for using WP2Cloud!
Can you provide more details about your installation? Are you using the WordPress-on-S3 AMI or you installed and configured ClouSE yourself?
I am using the WordPress-on-S3 AMI.
It’s funny because it has happened in the past and I could restart everything normal, but this time it’s just not working. I’ve verified on S3 and via sftp on the server and all the content it’s there, but it insist on installing WordPress again.
How can I see the database?
Is there any other information I can bring to help me fix my problem?
I’m looking forward to your answer. Thanks.
Could you edit /etc/my.cnf file and add the following line there:
clouse_cloud_ssl_cert_file=none
then restart MySQL?
Ok, I have done it.
Seems like I have the home page back but that’s all. The other pages are not working and can’t access to the admin neither.
Perhaps you can take a look at the site: sergioperez.mx
I’ve got the install screen, which means that the database hasn’t come online.
Did you configure Webmin access to the site? If so, could you send email to support (at) oblaksoft (dot) com and provide Webmin access, so that someone could look at it?
The website is back online.
I have sent you an email to the address you mentioned.
Hope you can verify it soon because the site has been down more than one day yet.
Thank you!
Hi Luis,
Thank you for contacting OblakSoft support. The website should be fixed now.
The problem was that sometimes WordPress removes the rewrite rules from .htaccess. To put them back, you can change permalink settings, save them and then change them back.
I’ve been struggling the last 36hours to bring it back without success.
I’m glad to know that there is a very professional support team. Congratulations for your great job.
Thanks a lot Artem!
To close the loop on the original issue (certificate problem):
We released a fix for the certificate problem. The new version of ClouSE is available at http://www.oblaksoft.com/downloads/. The upgrade instructions are available at http://www.oblaksoft.com/mysql-on-s3-update-clouse/. The release notes are available at http://www.oblaksoft.com/documentation/clouse-release-notes/.
After you upgrade to the new version you can remove the clouse_cloud_ssl_cert_file
option (the option disables certificate check, so it’s not recommended to be used in production unless necessary).
