• Under the sharing settings for Jetpack, I’m not allowed to connect to Facebook so that I can automatically publicize my posts on my Facebook page. Every time I click on “connect” I’m redirected to login to wordpress again. When I login, I’m simply taken to the dashboard of my site. If I try to go back to the sharing settings and connect to Facebook again, the whole login process is simply repeated.

I even created a new Facebook account and made it the manager of the Facebook page I want to connect to my WordPress site. When I clicked on “connect” under the sharing settings for Jetpack, it finally took me through the process of asking me to log in to Facebook (under the new Facebook account) then asking my permission to access my Facebook pages and all that. When I finished, it asked me to login to WordPress again and when I did and went to the sharing setting for Jetpack, my Facebook account still wasn’t linked. Please help, I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. My website is fonograff.com

    Thank you

Could you try deactivating all plugins that may block or affect connections to your site? Security plugins, for example, could be what’s stopping the connection here.

If that doesn’t help, try creating the connection in a different browser, just to make sure that the problem is not related to your browser not accepting cookies or not being able to keep the connection opened.

Let me know if it helps.
