[resolved] Cant connect Jetpack on Windows Azure (4 posts)

I have three new websites using Windows Azure hosting. They are all currently set in free mode whilst I develop them. I have installed Jetpack plugin on all three websites but they all fail when attempting to connect to wordpress.com "register_http_request_failed".

The error displayed is "SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate in certificate chain"

I don't have an SSL certificate as I have no need for one, is this a setting in Windows Azure hosting causing this. Can anything be done from my end to make it work?

Can you please try installing the Jetpack Compatibility Plugin so we can see some additional information from your site?

    1) Download the plugin from http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/jetpack/branches/jetpack-compatibility-test.zip
    2) Upload the plugin to your site via Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New.
    3) Activate the plugin and go to Plugins -> Jetpack Compatibility Test.
    4) Click the "Select All" button.
    5) Send us the test results via this contact form:
    http://jetpack.me/contact-support/

    Thanks!
