Sorry, I’m not sure what the problem is that you’re reporting.

Are you saying that after an uninstall the aye-main.min.css file is still remaining?

sorry for the late response. :S I added the file there because my logs were filling with 404 errors (as you can see it’s an empty file) but i can’t find a way to make that stop loading.. i download all my site files and db searched for that file but it’s no where to be found. still it keeps loading

i have tried installing and uninstaling the plugin, also cleared cache and cloudflare cache but i still find it loading :S

Ok, that file won’t be causing any issues – it’s a tiny stylesheet file.

However, to get rid of it entirely I’d recommend manually deleting the youtube-embed folder within your plugins directory.

I don’t know why this file hung about – deletion of files is a function of WordPress and nothing to do with my plugin.

I think you misunderstood me, the file was deleted on uninstall but my site kept looking for it when a page loaded. I manually created the file in that location so i wouldn’t get many 404 errors on my log. For the moment i deleted it and if you use a tool like Pindgom Tools you will see a 404 error from that file. Here is a link to a test http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/CxyXZ8hvF/fixaberry.mx at the end of the resources list that file is listed.

Ok, that file has gone but has the whole youtube-embed folder in plugins?

Yes, everything is like a normal uninstall from a plugin but somehow my wordpress keeps looking for that file everytime a page is loaded

Ok, but have you definitely, absolutely checked manually that the folder has gone from your plugins directory on your host server?

Yes, ot has been deleted, if you want ftp access i can give it to you

No, that’s fine. When the plugin is activated it will add a hook to WordPress to add that script to the top of the page. When you deactivate the plugin – and this is handled by WordPress – that hook should be removed. It looks like that hasn’t happened. However, I’m not sure what the fix is.

I’d recommend posting your query in the generic WordPress forums, as I don’t think is a problem with this plugin.

    No further updates – resolving.
