Hi:
You have to go to Modules >>> Title Tag Rewriter >>> Post Title Format or Page Title Format you will see where it has {blog} | {post} or {page} this is where it is dynamically pulling info from.
So, if you have it say {blog} by default, it will pull in your blog name from the general settings. The same respectively happens for page or post. So, you have the option to remove from the way your title displays.
If you delete it, you can always revert back to default settings as a safeguard (thanks to our dev team’s insight) when creating this module.
If you want to remove the Home | then just remove where it says {page} to blank then save and that should do it.

jeffery sorry I can’t see this, I met the title tag rewriter and on the pages tab and right beside the word “blog”there is nothing it is an empty space.
Are you referring to: in the title tag rewriter the very 1st Called “default formats”where the very 1st item is “blog homepage title” and in the window beside it is got in the curly parentheses “blog”

I have some issues with this site and I was wondering if you could do an audit and tell me what is wrong or right on my site. I had someone, you recommended, do the silo structure on the site but they left me hanging at the very end. They had made some extraordinary promises and forecasted that this site after a silo structure foundation was built that this site would outdo all the rest hands down. This was if you can remember about 13 or 14 months ago. Then he left me a whole pile of homework which I didn’t want to do such as meta-tagging pictures etc. etc. finally I did accomplish all the meta-tagging the pictures then he told me had to do some other backend stuff. I didn’t really realize that this wasn’t a full service product( from start to finish) he was delivering it was like building a house he would put the foundation in and put the walls up and after that tell me to put the roof on myself. And this is where I am worried the things that he left me do I’m not sure whether they were effective or not and he is reluctant to do anymore on my site because he claims he’s extremely busy.
This time over the course of approximately 10 to 11 months virtually nothing has happened as far as my telephone ringing. When I type in some of my keywords I still am for below the threshold for good optimization. I fully appreciate what he has done and I do like the man but I feel I was left hanging, he left me with some note saying that there would be 90 day phone support which there was none in the normal sense (where you would phone in and ask a question and it would be answered) sometimes it took 2 weeks to get a hold of him. In my frustration and things not going right because the season was quickly approaching and my site was nowhere I started trying some other avenues which I cautiously tried using and in return when he did speak to me he gave me shit. I did approach him last week and asked him to check the site over and make some adjustments and then in return I got a scolding saying that I had screwed the site up.
