Can't change homepage layout to page.php layout

    Ok so I’m trying to get the layout of my homepage to have the same layout as all the other pages (defined by page.php).

    I’ve edited index.php, home.php, blog.php, and post.php, but nothing makes a different. Which file is the home page content defined in?

    The theme is Responsive 1.8.4
