    Hi guys. I'm attempting to change the body font as well as the h1 fonts but am having trouble. I have a child theme set up and have been trying to following code in the CSS.

    body {
    margin: 0;
    font-family: "Roboto-Thin", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    font-size: 14px;
    line-height: 20px;
    color: #333333;
    background-color: white;
    }

    For some reason the changes in the font-family don't work. If I change background-color:white; to black for example that change works fine as well as the font-size. Is it an issue of have the font in the child folder instead of the parent font folder?

    Hi..no that can't be the issue..anything in the child theme overrides the default.....Pls post the link to your site, then i would be clearer...

    Hello braden.schlueter,

    do you properly import this font to your CSS/site? I can't see any @import line in both parent and child stylesheets. You may ofc also import font in another way, so please tell us if you do it.

    I may not have. What is the proper way to import a font? I simply uploaded the font files into the CSS font folder.

    ok thanks.
    I've added this so far to the CSS but don't see any results.

    @font-face
    {
    font-family: Roboto;
    src: url('Roboto-Thin.ttf')
    url('Roboto-Regular.ttf')
    }

    Am I missing something that links the font to the font file on the server?
