can't change anything to widget in admin

    My website is using theme Sight but I doubt if this is a theme related issue, here is the problem:

    I entered the admin and go to widget, I can see my existing 2 widget sections, one is the built-in widget called site-description, the other is sidebar, within the sidebar, there should be couple Text widgets in it that show the sponsors advertisements on my website, as you can see on the right hand side.

    I can’t do anything in the admin/widget page, can’t open the sidebar to edit, can expand it to see what’s in it now, can’t add any widgets to the site….just can’t do anything.

    What happened?

    There is no theme such as “Sight” to be found in the WP theme repository. You may want to contact the vendor of the theme.

    Try deactivating your plugins and switching to the default WP theme (temporarily) – that will help determine what might be causing that issue.

    If that fixes it, reverse your steps one by one.
