Can't center wordpress ads in twenty thirteen theme

    Hello I’m having trouble centering my ad DIRECTLY under my posts in the index.php. I have tried text-align: center; in my css style sheet and linked it over and it centered it but it was not centered under my post perfectly (going to far to the right of the page and under the widget bar) and it also brought the footer to the top of the page. I am using the twenty thirteen theme with asynchronous google ads to support the responsive theme and the ads are working responsivly fine but they just won’t get in the right location! Please help
