Support » Fixing WordPress » Can't Back-Up So I Exported an XML can't Import it to a Local Fresh install

  • I’ve been trying to fix the add media button since the first time I installed wordpress at version 3.2 and I haven’t touched any WordPress core files I did add some fixes from the files to the config file that did nothing to fix the problem.

Now I can’t seem to use any backup plugins. If the database seems to backup it can’t be reloaded same with the XML export.

I would like to fix this but now I’m just stumped. I just switched my main domain over to a hosting reseller and I don’t want to play to much with the database. is there anyone that can help me fix this because I’m afraid while tinkering I’ve done some damage somewhere. Can I correct it without disrupting the other installations on my hosting account? Or could it be I’m just to frustrated to see whats really going on?
