Hi
My side-bar on the first page of my blog is the same as the static pages on my site, but I'd like it to display the same sidebar that I've selected for my posts, it contains my categories etc.
Normally the sidebar i want a page or post to display is specified on the page's (or post's) edit screen.
I have made the selection I want and updated my changes, but despite this the page still displays the default sidebar.
Any idea why?

I've seen that on earlier releases of wordpress recently, but I'm using v3.5.1 and my problem is different.
I can change the widgets, but I cant alter the choice of sidebar. It could be a theme problem for me, but I've still not solved it

I got this response on my theme's forum:
iBlogPro 4 is now considered a legacy theme and is now available for free via GitHub and therefore, we no longer support the theme. I recommend you contact our helpdesk and enquire about an upgrade, in your email to the helpdesk link them to this post.
