Can't add new user - Password too short (1 post)

    I'm trying to add new users via Users > Add New and no matter what password I enter (presently 9 characters and strong) it always says 'Password too short'. I'm not using any plugins like Pie Register etc... which I've soon forum posts on how to resolve. Can anyone advise? I need to add in these new users ...
