Can't add more categories

    Hi there,

    I am using this theme to run a news site and have a large number of categories that need managing plus a menu that needs to be constantly updated.

    The issue is that I am unable to add any more categories to the menu. I have added 90 already –

    I have also tried to include the php.ini file but this is not working and I am wondering if this is a theme issue.

    Hi Sanaya! This should not be a theme issue, as I have no specific CSS or PHP limiting amount to any count.

    Perhaps WordPress has put a max limit as 90? No idea, as I’ve never heard of 90 categories in a menu before 🙂

    Are they added in the admin UI? I’d probably ask on the general WordPress support forum categories instead, people should be able to help you better there I think.

    Ok ok… il check with WP support. I read that it is to do with the php.ini file but did not seem to work for me.
    Will update this post once I find out incase anyone else has a similar issue.

    I think the best way to do this is to contact the hosting providers and have them update the php file:

    suhosin.post.max_vars = 5000
    suhosin.request.max_vars = 5000

    They updated it for me and it works.
