Can't add media, tags or featured images to posts

I can’t add media (photos), tags or featured images to my posts. I also can’t add slideshows or edit galleries. I’ve disabled all plugins, cleared my cache, closed and restarted my browser and nothing is working. After I disabled my plugins they last time now I can’t get Jetpack to recognize my site and getting the following error: Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [HTTP 406]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: http://jetpack.me/support/

Any help or guidance to solve this situation would be GREATLY appreciated. I already have a huge backlog of posts and desperately need to catch up.
