This is very frustrating.
When I go to add a link in the visual tab when writing a post, the link box pops up fine (URL & Title fields load fine), but when I go to "Add Link", it redirects me back to the wp-admin/edit.php page, and I lose all unsaved progress up to that point. I've tried in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, the same problem for each.
Note: this only happened once I upgraded to 3.3.
It sounds like an issue with a plugin interfering with WordPress. I'd try deactivating all your plugins, one by one, and then trying to add a link after each time. Hopefully after deactivating one of the plugins, it will start working and you'll know what plugin is causing the issue.
