I’m trying to add the events calender to my navigation menu so people can find it. I’ve followed these steps below and events is showing in my menu structure on my dashboard but it still isn’t showing on my navigation bar on the actual website =S Any ideas???

You can add your events to your navigation bar via your Menu page in the WordPress dashboard. If you’re not familiar with that page, you’ll want to read this overview. With The Events Calendar installed, you will see a meta box that looks something like this: http://d.pr/i/n6SF. Yours may be lower down on the left under Pages or other meta boxes.

From that Events meta box you can add any individual event to your navigation menu. You can also add a link to your whole calendar. Click View All and then select Events (http://d.pr/i/ZQBj) and click Add to Menu.

    Hi jennifer_1989,

Please try following the steps in this tutorial and see if that works. If that still doesn’t work, please send me a screenshot of your Menu page so that we can troubleshoot further.

    Best,

    Hi Leah,

Thanks for your reply – the problem seemed to be on my theme not your plugin as I updated the theme and all is good now!

Love your plugin so thank you!
