   I seem to have lost the ability to add categories. I get the message:

   'Could not insert term into the database'

   Hmm that was more generic before upgrading to the latest version. Maybe it is a database permissions problem?

   I'm at version 2.6.3 (just now upgraded from 2.6.?)

   I looked through the last 5 pages and could find anything on searching the forum.

   Any suggestion on the add categories problem.

   I have been having the same problem except my error message is "an unidentified error has occured". I disabled Java Script, added categories and then re-enabled. That did the trick for me.
