can't activate JQuery Accordion Menu Widget

I can’t install & activate the JQuery Accordion Menu Widget plugin. When I try to install it through the dashboard, the screen changes to my blog instead of the dashboard. So if I upload it through FTP & try to activate it, the same thing happens.
