My wordpress site is behind .htaccess protection (if that matters -- it never has before)...
After loading the new eShop 5.2 files, install dies with:
ERROR! eShop requires that the wp_content directory is writable before the plugin can be activated.
the wp_content and all child directories permissions are 755 (this includes the eShop plugin).
HELP!
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/eshop/
try uploading a single image via the media library - does that fix the issue? if not you'll need to change the file permission from 755.

After reading other entries, I decided to revert to previous version 4 -- all is working fine again... I think I'll give you some additional time to work out the bugs before trying again...

Hello....
to fix the "ERROR! eShop requires that the wp_content directory is writable before the plugin can be activated." I destroy the folder /httpdocs/wp-content/uploads because i am not the owner. And i make a new on.
