I was using pie-register version 1. I upgraded to 2.0.4 on my dev site, and was getting lots of PHP Warnings in the logs, and since there was the popup that said that deactivating and activating the plugin would help some problems, I thought maybe that was relevant. But, now it won’t activate because the database tables already exist.

Looks like there are a lot of coding issues in this plugin. I’ll have to see if I can downgrade, or find another plugin, since the old version had issues too, that I had fixed in my local version.

    Dear user,

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced due to the bugs introduced in version 2.0 of Pie Register (PR). As you know, with PR 2.0, we have released numerous UI upgrades and feature adds to the product. Due to the self-imposed tight deadlines, some aspects of testing were not as closely monitored as they should have been, causing this slippage. Since then the team has worked very hard to fix all known bugs and performed end-to-end rigorous testing to ensure the product is stable. We have released the updated version 2.0.6 of PR. This update addresses all known issues, plus provide additional flexibility to customize PR to your needs. Please upgrade and enjoy.

    Thanks

I just noticed this was marked “resolved”. I’ll open a new bug with similar behavior.

I tried uninstalling the plugin, dropping the pieregister_code table, and reinstalling, but it still has a bug when activating. Sounds like it wasn’t tested at all.

There were couple of reason of marking this ticket as resolved, firstly we could not re-produce the problem and we did not hear from you over a week.

We have noticed you have opened a new ticket, so now I am gonna mark this one as “Resolved” again.

    Thanks
