OK, I am hoping someone can help.

I installed WP 3.1.1 on my hosting space. Install went fine. Now when I try to go to the WP-Admin I just get redirected to a funny IP address that shows my hosts holding page.

If I switch to using my iPhone (for example) on 3G or connect my laptop via 3G – I can log in, add users, see everything.

So the problem only exists on my home wifi (I have shut everything down and restarted).

Anyone know why this is and have any solution?

  • Hello !

I know this is a old topic but I have the exact same problem…
When I logged into my wp-admin, an error page appears with my standard network (wifi or ethernet, at work, home etc…) but when I try with my 3G key (pluged into my macbook pro) It works fine !

    I really don’t understand what happened :/

I also tried many others solutions (because Chrome gave me a 324 error, and apache a segfault) -> http://www.colinmcnulty.com/blog/2008/07/08/solution-to-wordpress-blank-screen-of-death/

    But still don’t work.

If somebody has a idea, help us 😉

Ask your webhost if you somehow tripped your firewall settings, because it’s PROBABLY that your IP was blocked from your server.
