I recently installed WordPress 3.4.1 on a new domain. When i try to access the admin area or just the site itself i get this error message: Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net. I get the same error using FireFox. I can reach the welcome page using http://www.proxy.org, but when i enter my info and click install wordpress button, the page disappears and i still can't access anything. This is a new site, so nothing has been done to it. This is the link: http://hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net
    Can anyone help?

  2. When I visit that site, I get the default new install page.

i get this error message: Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net.

If you haven't already done so, try clearing your DNS cache on your PC or Mac. The TTL on that DNS A record "hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net" is only 10 minutes right now, but earlier it could have been much longer.

On the PC via the command prompt this should work.

    ipconfig /flushdns

On a Mac via the Terminal try

    dscacheutil -flushcache

  4. . . .

I'm so not seeing what you're seeing.

Try this: on your command prompt, or Terminal if you're on a Mac, type in this command.

    nslookup hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net

This is what I get when I do that.

    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net
    Address: 31.170.162.143

    Now try the ping command.

    ping hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net
    PING hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net (31.170.162.143): 56 data bytes
    64 bytes from 31.170.162.143: icmp_seq=0 ttl=249 time=44.262 ms
    64 bytes from 31.170.162.143: icmp_seq=1 ttl=249 time=45.290 ms
    64 bytes from 31.170.162.143: icmp_seq=2 ttl=249 time=43.879 ms 11,24-31 All
    64 bytes from 31.170.162.143: icmp_seq=3 ttl=249 time=44.454 ms
    64 bytes from 31.170.162.143: icmp_seq=4 ttl=249 time=44.503 ms
    ^C

Which for me shows the same IP address as it should.

Let me know what you get as an output for those two commands.

Edit: Also try a different browser too if you can.

I performed the command: nslookup hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net and i get this:
    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net
    Address: 31.170.162.143

then i performed the ping command and got this:
Pinging hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net [31.170.162.143] with 32 bytes of data:

    General failure.
    General failure.
    General failure.
    General failure.

    Ping statistics for 31.170.162.143:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),
What does this mean and how can i fix it?

  6. I performed the command: nslookup hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net and i get this:
    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net
    Address: 31.170.162.143

That's good, you get what everyone else gets.

then i performed the ping command and got this:
Pinging hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net [31.170.162.143] with 32 bytes of data:

    General failure.
    General failure.
    General failure.
    General failure.

    Not so good.

I don't know why, but your desktop can't access your own site. It may be your PC, can you try with a different PC? I want to see if it's your ISP (no idea why that would be the case) or if your PC is haunted.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, i'm not able to try another pc. I found a website called: http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com. Here you can enter a url and find out if the site is down for everyone on just you. The results say the site is up and loading for everyone except me. This makes me think the problem maybe with my computer. How can i check to see if my computer is blocking my site?
Here is the site link again: http://hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net

I can access anything else on the internet but this site. I own this site and other sites with the same host. I have no problem accessing my other sites. Using http://www.proxy.org, i can reach the wordpress welcome page, but when i click the install wordpress button the page diappears and that is as far as i get. I tried entering the ip address for this site into a browser and i get redirected to this: http://error404.000webhost.com/? Could my computer be blocking this sites ip address? Would changing my ip address help solve this problem? I'm a little new, so i'm grasping straws right now.
I performed the command: nslookup hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net and i get this:
    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net
    Address: 31.170.162.143

then i performed the ping command and got this:
Pinging hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net [31.170.162.143] with 32 bytes of data:

    General failure.
    General failure.
    General failure.
    General failure.

    Ping statistics for 31.170.162.143:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

I then performed tracert in command prompt and got this:
    C:\Windows\system32>tracert http://www.hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net

    Tracing route to http://www.hitechdigitallifestyle.net63.net [31.170.162.143]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

    1 General failure.

    Trace complete.

If anyone can help, i would kiss your feet.
    Any help is appreciated!
