   Set up new website today. Host is iPage. When I tried to access, rec'd error message that sent me to iPage. Also 500 Internal Error error.
   iPage support tels me codes used in .htaccess file causing problem, but I can't access wp to correct and not sure if I know how. iPage sends me back to wordpress to get proper codes. I'm in limbo

   Is there anything you did right before recieving this error? Make any changes to settings in the dashboard, like permalinks (Settings/Permalinks) or similar?

   Do you still have access to the dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your URL?
