Hi,
I have just ported over a wordpress site from my old server onto my new server. However, when i try to access the wordpress admin panel of the site it goes straight to the update page and says: "You cannot update because WordPress 3.2.1 requires MySQL version 5.0 or higher. You are running version 4.1.22." How can I get past this issue?
You can't. Your hosts need to update MySQL.

Surely there are some files i can replace or some thing that will stop it forcing an update?
Not if you're trying to move a WP 3.2 site. It's 3.2 and all versions above that need MySQL version 5.0 or higher.

So there's no way at all for me to transfer my site to this host? I'm sure the site is compatible with lower than WP 3.2
Not if the site was running 3.2, no.
