    I'm getting this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _x() in /home/content/k/r/e/kreativesouls/html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 35

when i try to access my admin page. I spent all day long attempting to fix the initial problem (page was aligned wrong and i did nothing to cause it), uploaded 2.8, only to discover I can't post anything. Very frustrating process. I hope someone can help.

    my site domain is http://kreativesouls.com

    Thanks in advance!

Well, i did... twice. Let me ask you this: should there be an admin folder in the root menu of 2.8? Because there wasn't one. I ended up pulling it from the wordpress folder and adding it to the root menu manually and did the same with the customized login page. i had to add the content folder manually as well, which i expected per the upgrade instructions.

why dont you look at the file hierarchy inside the zip:

    wp-config.php
    wp-settings.php
    ...
    ...
    wp-admin/
    wp-includes/
    ...
    ...
