I am unable to access the admin area of my website. It says page cannot be found (HTTP 404 - File not found) The website itself is running ok, but I cant update my site. I need help asap. Does anyone know a solution? Thanks.

Try:
- switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
- re-uploading the wp-admin folder from a fresh download of WordPress.
