   I did an upgrade to WP.. then could not login. So I deleted everything, database etc and did a clean install.
   Worked fine.. I was logged in etc.

   Today when i go to login I amm getting that same cookie error and have tried everything!

   Someone please help me!

   I just upgraded to WordPress 2.6, and everything appears to be working fine, except when I try to log in. I type my user name and password, and every time I just get the error: Please log in again.

   I even tried resetting my password, and I got the e-mail with a new password, and I still am unable to log in. Can somebody please help?

   nevernamed, try clearing your cookies. That helped me when I upgraded to 2.6

   In Firefox clear privacy data CTRL+Shift+Del

   Make sure that cookies item is ticked

   This is happening to me no matter which browser I use. Clearing cookies makes no difference. Help!! I am supposed to host a blog carnival tomorrow and cannot get into my own blog!

   hmm, clearing all cookies with the word "wordpress" in them fixed it straight away (Safari).

   NB: this is for when you get the prompt "please log in again", but not the prompt "Error: incorrect name or password"
