I was happily working on my wordpress dev site which I recently moved from xampp to a live server when I noticed a little blue ball in my firefox address bar witha little c on it. To my horror when I clicked on it I was taken to my home page under a folder called group(this was my previous root folder on Xampp) - So if I understand correctly, then this means that the whole network is duplicated :O I am assuming that this is a database issue, again, is there not some quick fix for this?
Can you give us a link you your site so we can figure out what you did?

sure thanks- tippfocus.intoweb.co.za
It doesnt seem like the whole site is cannonized, just the superuser site.
Go lok on the server and see if you've transferred a copy of the site under the /group/ folder. remove it.

no, there is no group folder- I used to have a group folder on my localhost, so somehow it is redirecting the urls in some way- everything is functioning perfectly- so I dont want to break anything- my internet speed here is extremely slow- I just want to know if there is some sort of script or something I can use to rectify it.

Ok, I found it in the database and fixed it. All seems fine. Now to get rid of the little grey ball the c that replaced it.
