    Hi,

I am new to WordPress, in the process of moving from Blogger custom domain to self-hosted WordPress blog, and I am having an absolute nightmare.

First the commments wouldn't install during the import. So after the posts were already imported from Blogger with only a handful of comments, I changed the max file size limit in the php.ini to allow me to import the rest of the comments. I converted the Blogger xml file to Wxr (4mb) and uploaded that to WordPress.

However, while it seems to have imported at least some of the comments (perhaps all, I'm not sure but loads more than before) it has now imported all the posts again, this time with Tags as Tags instead of categories, duplicating most of the originally imported posts. So in my dashboard I have about 700 posts, where I only actually have about 450 overall.

To rectify this I thought I would delete all posts and start again, but I tried to put all the posts on one page so I could 'highlight all' and delete in one go.

I changed the screen options to max posts on one page '700' and now when I click on posts page (mysite.com/sub-directory/wp-admin/edit.php) all I get now is a blank screen. Help!

How can I access this page again so I can access my posts?

    Thanks

I also got this code while trying to import the wxr file:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /home1/mysite/public_html/sub-directory/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 302

    Can anyone please help?

I would think that the easiest thing to do would be to delete everything and start over (delete databases, too).

Now I go through it again, I think the problem is the number of posts on a page being set at 700 per page is too much for WordPress to load?

I've just reimported all the comments and posts and that went okay so I think this seems more a problem to do with me changing that setting on the Screen Options tab of the Posts section.

Is there a way to edit that manually without being on the Posts page section? I think if I can edit it back down to 20 per page it should hopefully be able to load...
