Support » Installing WordPress » Cannot View PHP pages IN IIS — Killing me – Please Help

  • I am trying to install WordPress on IIS (W2K3). I have several PHP based sites running on IIS. I have installed PHP5 and MySQL both running fine. I am able to browse to domainname/readme.html so I know it’s not a DNS or service based issue. All PHP Web Service Extensions are allowed for PHP. When I try to browse to any of the .php files in my browser (IE) I get “Page cannot be displayed”)

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT MAY BE CAUSING THIS??

  • Have you configured the IIS extension to handle the php requests coming into your server ?

See this page, which has 2 links in 1st paragraph, one for configuring IIS6 and one for configuring IIS7.

[sig moderated – your name links to your site – that’s all you get]
