@paulala15 – Is this a Multisite installation? Are the gallery path(s) correct for where you are trying to add images to old galleries?
There may be more at play here but those two questions may help lead to a suggestion or work-around?
– Cais.
Hi thanks so much for responding!
Yes, this is a multi-site installation. And I will check those gallery paths, but I’m fairly certain they are correct – especially since it fails with newly created galleries. And that goes for newly created galleries via the image upload page or adding a new gallery via the galleries page.
The good news is that old gallery uploads do still work. Just can’t add any new!
Thanks again for responding – really want to stick with NextGEN!
Best,
Paula
Just as an update – checked the paths, they are correct. The issue is still occurring – all uploads are failing. I really do not want to have to delete this plugin off the multisite installation – a lot of users love it and use it!
@paulala15 – Did you install NextGEN Gallery before or after you switched your WordPress installation over to a Multisite?
You may need to review the path set in the Network settings of the plugin? or, do you have this as a sub-site install / activation?
– Cais.
Our WordPress install has always been multisite. NextGen was installed after we got it up and running.
It is not network activated – so only certain users can activate it, yes. But on all the blogs I checked, same situation – the plugin is acting up in the same manner on those blogs – no new uploads go through.
Also when the plugin is activated on a new blog – the same error gets triggered. No photos get uploaded.
@paulala15 – We may need to look into this issue much closer, would you be able to submit a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get that closer look?
We would need log in and FTP credentials appropriate for a Multisite WordPress installation as well, please include those with the Bug Report.
Thanks!
– Cais.
I can provide a bug report, of course, but I cannot allow you to have access to our server. That would be a huge violation of security. If you want, we can try to retrieve error logs.
Thank you for your time.
@paulala15 – We can understand your concerns and we will try to work with what you are willing to provide to us.
Thanks!
– Cais.
Hi,
Did this ever get resolved, as I’m having exactly the same problem!
I’ve gone back and installed Version 2.0.58 but still I have the problem.
I’m quite happy for you to have a look on the files on the server!
Where can I send my FTP please?
Thank you
James
@jamesmitchell5 – Feel free to submit a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) and we can start the process fresh with you.
Thanks!

Hi,
I am having the same installation errors, my site is new, created it a few days ago, and have not been able to successfully add any images. I would also like if you could look at the files, and offer any advice..I will open a Bug Report
