   Hi there

   I recently had my company website bulit from wordpress, so I am a complete novice when it comes to the problems associated with it.

   When I upload any image I get the following message:

   “blank template.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
   The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/mydomainname/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads.

   The store uploads folder is set as "wp-content/uploads". I have looked at numerous forums but dont seem to understand anything.

   Could anyone assist?

   What are the permissions set for your folder wp-content ???
   is it something like 755 or what ?

   Sounds obvious, but check you have enough allocated space.

   the setting is set at wp-content/uploads i cannot see a number

   Can you log in to you ftp using File Zilla ??

   i dont think i can...the site is hosted somewhere else...i will find out..many thanks
