Have you checked your error log or asked your hosting provider?
Yes, they say there’s nothing wrong – plus, I have two other sites on the same server, both use Nexgen and nothing is amiss.
You need to reproduce the error and note the time and check your server error log for anything relevant at that time. “An unexpected error occured” is too generic. Have you checked your permissions?
Are you trying to upload heavy images?
isn’t working for me now, I have used it successfully before
What has changed since it was working? Have you tried to deactivate all other plugins and activate default theme and see if the error still occurs?
It happened after you updated wordpress?
all images are about 30 kb each, I’ll check with the host again, it’s godaddy, by the way, any known issues?
@cohistorian, how is your permalink structure?
If you have setted it as default, change it to something else, e.g. “postname” and see if it works.
Tried everything, finally decided to move site from godaddy (was on phone for almost an hour with them, and even ‘tho I demonstrated that the plug in works fine with another site on another host, they maintained it wasn’t their issue). In process of migrating all to hostmonster, will see tomorrow if this was the right decision!
Well, all works now after migrating to Hostmonster, took a few days to reconfigure some settings and such, but it’s working now (altho I have to change some settings for the photos). Thanks for everybody’s help. P.S. Things with godaddy finally started to work after they updated their php versions, deleted some php errors, etc., but it was too little too late….
@cohistorian – Thanks for the update and sharing your experiences with GoDaddy.
@tizz – Thanks for your help on this as well.
Best Wishes for the Holiday Season!

yes, thanks again to all and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (I’m sure it’s already “Christmas Past” for some of you!
