   Hi: Upgraded and transferred site, http://christian-dating-service-plus.com/ and now can't update sidebar and plugins..Originally all files were not writeable, so my host server changed the permissions to 777..I know this is not safe.....Curiously, I can update all files in themes folder except sidebar...They changed the plugins folder as well, but still cannot edit any through the dashboard...I messed around with different permission, to no avail..

   Thanks for any help..

   Well if you know the folders are writeable, then it may be necessary to check the individual files for permissions.
