   When I edit my html or css in the admin panel, my changes don't show up on my splash page. I don't have any caching plugins running, but it seems like a caching thing.

   Definitely sounds like it's being cached somewhere. The plugin does not do any caching on it's own. Might try to clear your browser cache. Your host might be doing some sort of caching as well.
