   When I click on uninstall, I get this cryptic message:

   This file must be copied into the same directory where WordPress is installed. The file wp-load.php is in this directory

   WP Super Cache is still in the plugins list.

   There are detailed instructions in the readme.txt that will help you uninstall the plugin. You could also download the development version off the Other Versions page which has a more streamlined uninstall process.
