• The settings/behavior of the plugin have gotten messed up. Now no matter what I change, it has no effect on what is being displayed. For example, the link for the blog is being injected into product pages for Woocommerce products. Even when I unchecked ‘Place the blog breadcrumb in the trail.’.

    As a result, I was trying to uninstall and reinstall the plugin hoping to fix the issue, but I received the following error:

    Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'BadMethodCallException' with message 'Invalid Plugin ("breadcrumb-navxt.php") in bcn_uninstaller::uninstall().' in /home/rynopow/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb_navxt_uninstaller.php:173 Stack trace: #0 /home/rynopow/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb_navxt_uninstaller.php(73): bcn_uninstaller->uninstall() #1 /home/rynopow/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/uninstall.php(34): bcn_uninstaller_abstract->__construct(Array) #2 /home/rynopow/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(917): include('/home/rynopow/p...') #3 /home/rynopow/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(793): uninstall_plugin('breadcrumb-navx...') #4 /home/rynopow/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/plugins.php(318): delete_plugins(Array) #5 {main} thrown in /home/rynopow/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb_navxt_uninstaller.php on line 173

    Originally was on a multisite, but it still wouldn’t delete. I even converted back down to a single site to try and delete the plugin but got the same result.

    I even tried just manually deactivating and deleting the plugin, and reinstalling and reactivating it, in hopes that it would regenerate the correct initial settings, but no such luck for both multi and single site.

    How can I fully delete the plugin, so I can try to fix my initial problem?

    Thanks.

    If your settings are messed up, do a settings reset for Breadcrumb NavXT. Go to the settings page, click on the ‘Help’ tab, in the pop-down, click on the Import/Export/Reset menu item on the left. In that view, click the ‘Reset’ button. That will reset your settings.

    If you are on a multisite setup, you need to make sure you understand the changes to the settings architecture in 5.0. The Network admin settings page will by default take priority over settings on individual sub sites (may explain your issue). Please see the first post in this thread for more information: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/readme-before-updating-to-500

    Finally, the uninstall issue was reported previously here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-i-cannot-remove-the-plugin-version-50 and will be fixed in the next version.
