I have a Page titled “Welcome”. Under Options >> Reading, I have selected that Page to be the static front page for my website. I click Save, it tells me the Options are saved and everything looks fine. But when I go to look at the website, all I see are the latest blog posts and the welcome page is nowhere to be found.

I’ve been doing a lot of theme tweaking, but that doesn’t appear to be the problem; when I switch to the Classic or Default WordPress themes, the same problem occurs. I don’t know where to look anymore for the problem. Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong here, or something else I can try?

The website in question is here: http://faithfulheartministry.com/

The Page that is not appearing (although I’ve tried other Pages and they don’t appear either) is here: http://faithfulheartministry.com/?page_id=27 (have to include the extra URL because this Page is excluded from the Pages list on the top)

    *sigh*

The problem had to do with a plugin. Specifically, the 0.10beta-R18 version of the Extended Live Archive plugin. There doesn’t appear to be a fix at the moment, so I’ll just have to deactivate and find another way to do archives.
