• Currently i’m using the plugin and embedding via shortcode (using do_shortcode function) – but regardless of the shortcode i pass to it, the images it returns are always thumbnails. Even the images when viewed in source are 150×150, so they’re not being resized down from the larger resolutions.

Has any found this issue or a solution?

  • Same issue. Makes no difference whether I use the shortcode in the page editor content area, or use do_shortcode in the theme files.

    [simply_instagram endpoints=”users” type=”recent-media” size=”standard_resolution” display=”3″]

    Does nothing but show thumbnails.

    and I’m 3rd…

the readme.txt file tells that low resolution should be 306×306 px, which is what I’d like, but it still shows thumbnails 150×150 px.

I even copied the shortcode samples given in that readme file, and it doesn’t work.
So i am quite confident that it is not due to me typing/setting something wrongly.

I had a quick look at the css files. i can’t find the front-photo class. I have limited css knowledge, but I expected to find that in one of the css files in the css folder.
    Any clues guys ?

    I’ve encountered the same problem!
I use the shortcode in the page and regardless of the setting it shows up as 150px x 150px images. What a hassle, but will try a different Instagram plugin is this can’t be resolved.

Same problem…please let us know how to fix this easy thing!

    Same problem.

    This short code:

    [simply_instagram endpoints="users" type="recent-media" size="low_resolution" display="4"]

results in thumbnails. Was anyone able to sort this out?

I never figured out a solution. I just switched to the Simple Instagram plugin instead.
