Cannot see Chinese character

    I added a wordpress(version 2.2.1) blog under my domain – funsapple.com/blog.
    When i tried to post chinese character by using Windows SP2-Chinese PRC language tool, it is failed to show up after uploading the post. On the other hand,I tried the same post in my another old blog with wordpress version 2.0.5 , It is work! Can you advice what is the problem that makes my new blog cannot view in chinese character? Thanks!

    Your database encoding needs to be UTF8.

    I was having the same problem, and mine is set to UTF-8. Still coming up as only question marks, and checked the browser encoding. Still not luck.

    Had to dig this old thread out as I’m not having any luck writing chinese on my WP 2.51 blog.

    I’ve used http://g30rg3x.com/utf8-database-converter/ to convert the database to utf8_general_ci … on WP configuration its UTF-8 …

    but when I type my posts, on a Mac, using Safari with the build-in language input system, I still get garbage although in the admin page, the copy appears correctly.

    please advise.
