Cannot change the publishing time/date for posting. Only option is to publish immediately. After I select the Edit icon for publishing, it reads “edit_timestamp” and does nothing.

Could you post a screenshot. Are you using wordpress 3.5? If so have you tried http://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-35-master-list?replies=4

url reads: “www.url.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=4876&action=edit#edit_timestamp”

And the Publish Immediately Edit icon doesn’t allow me to edit the publishing time/date.

Sounds like a javascript error. Try adding define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false ); to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line).

Or try deactivating your plugins to see if one is causing the problem.

do you know what plugin did it? i am having the same problem but have been unable to narrow it down.
