Can anyone help? Quite sometime ago I installed a plugin for social sharing on my blog - now I cant remove or edit it and I no longer want to use it. I have been through all my plugins, old and new, but it seems to have disappeared leaving me no option to edit.....any ideas? It appears on every post

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the plugin's folder inside wp-content/plugins.

Thank yhou, but it doesnt even appear in there!
Try resetting the plugins folder by phpMyAdmin.

It could be that your theme has sharing buttons hard coded in and is not part of a plugin.

Thanks esmi, but I am no techy so will need to wait for help on that one! Can just about manage ftp and that is it! mojowill, I remember installing it way back when, so not hidden in the theme I am almost sure
