[resolved] Cannot redeclare xmail() (8 posts)

    Hi Folks,

    This morning I had your plugin causing this error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare xmail() (previously declared in /home/*****/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php:1) in /home/*****/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1

    I deactivated all plugins and reactivated all one by one. WP Security Audit Log was the only one that was causing the issue. I tried reinstalling as well. No go.

    Hi,

    Thank you for showing interest in our plugin.

    Yes, unfortunately it is a known issue in our plugin and a fix is available in the next version, which should be available next week or so.

    If you want you can send us an email on plugins@wpwhitesecurity.com and can send you the updated version with the fix before it is released. The new version is already out of testing and it is very stable.

    Also, do you plan on adding custom post types to the log? I just had an instance where an employee was mucking around where they shouldn't have been for a large organization. Since the post type "stories" isn't included in the log, I could prove they uploaded the featured image to the media database but couldn't prove they updated the post.

    Hi,

    Yes it is something we will do and support in the future but unfortunately at this stage I cannot promise you any delivery date, but shouldn't be too long.

    I've got the same prob - as u can see here: http://www.jacopovalli.com - but my problem is that I can't access admin area neither..
    Is there a way I can deactivate the plugin throw the database?
    Or anything else..

    @Septek Lab, you can deactivate the plugin simply by removing the plugin's folder (or renaming it) on the server. This should allow you to log in and force WordPress to deactivate the plugin for you.

    First of all thanks for showing interest in our plugin.

    It seems you are using an old version of our plugin, since that issue was fixed in the latest version.

    As regards the fact that you cannot login to the admin area, I've never seen that happening with our plugin. Will drop you an email soon to troubleshoot it.

    Ok confirmed that it was not WP Security Audit Log that was causing the white screen.
