   Just wanted to know if anyone else had this p;roblem.
   The widgets control cannot be moved from the middle holder to the sidebars. When I am trying to move them using the mouse, WordPress actually selects them instead of picking them up.

   Also I noticed that I cannot open the widget controls.

   Is this a known issue ?

   I am also having this issue. But the thing I dont understand is it was working just fine up to about 3 days ago. Now I cant move widgets to add them or deactivate them.

   well....could be a plugin or theme problem, that's the first place to test

   deactivate all plugins, see if you can drag.

   then switch to default theme, see if you can drag

   Good call RVoodoo, It turned out to be the Gixaw chat plugin. Now that its deactivated it works fine.
