  • I hope you get an answer to this question. On two of my blogs I am having the same problem. I still have the emails from when I set up my blog so I know I am using the correct passwords, but I get an error when I use them. So, I did the same thing you did and tried to reset the password and when I get the email and click on the link I get the same error saying that this key does not appear to be valid.

    HELP!!

Why this may help the user generate a new password, it’s not the best solution to brandonp2’s and sheilasultani’s problem … because that’s not the intended behavior of WordPress.

This is a known bug in 2.5.1 which has been fixed in Ticket #6842. See this blog post for solution.

Hi. I am having this same problem. I downloaded the zip files and replaced them but I can still not log in and it still says invalid key.

I read that I need to go into a table, I do not feel confident doing this. Is there step by step instructions anywhere on how to do this?

    Thanks
    Claire

I also am having this issue and am wondering if it is related to the fact that I have an account on the supported wordpress, but recently switched to wordpress.org with my own domain. I seem to be able to access all parts of my new blog except for the stats….
