I cannot Login into my wordpress blog
This happened after upgrading to 8.2.3
I followed the codex instructions and generated a new login.php file
I updated the DB with MyPHP according to the instructions from the codex
After all this, I still get the message:
"HTTP 500 Internet Server Error"
The website cannot display the page
I run Internet Explorer 8 in 32 bit Windows Vista
What can I do next?

Did you make any change in the .htaccess file? You may reverse them if you had made any.
Otherwise, you may try to make a clean install of WordPress 2.8.3, keeping the database and other inputs in tact. Test with default theme.

Neither that.
All you do when upgrading is upload the new files and go to yoursite/wp-admin and WP will do the upgrade for you. If you're talking to something else than a normal upgrade, you need to be more specific.

I did not make any change to the .htaccess file, I could not understand it and there was Supercache which made it very complicated. I am interested to make a clean install ke3ping the database and other inputs intact. How do you achieve this?

the problem did not appear as part of the upgrade but later on.
the fields I am refering to are the solution provided in the FAQ of WordPress to solve a problem when Login does not work

after transferring site to new domain and following all procedures including changing all required in config.php file I cant login to admin. Each time I click to submit i have "percent twenty" symbol added to my domain after the last letter before slash and therefore the login failed. Same happens if I enter directly reset password and other functions. Need your help. Thanks

Now I managed to log on to admin but all my graphics and other internal links have same issue. themes not working graphics and thumbnails show no images although as soon as remove (percent twenty) from the end of domain.
The website URL http://paint4pool.com.au.

Sorry guys. All fixed. The issue resolved when I changed all references in database that had somehow the sign percent twenty at the end of the domain by using SCR tool. Now all back to normal.

%20 is hex for 'space'. I reckon you simply had a space (which you couldn't see) on the beginning or end of the url.
