Try:
- switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
- re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.
I just reset, the theme by changing the name.
I reset the pluggins by doing the same.
I reloaded the latest version of WP apart from wp-content folder.
Still no luck! :(
Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.
just deleted it off and put it back on....with no luck. In mysql and phpmyadmin the values dont seem to change.....
Do you have a recent database backup?
I just backed it up now
Do you have a backup from before this problem began?
unfortunately not
Not sure if this will work but try setting up a new database & user and importing your backup into that. Then editing wp-config.php to point to the new database/user.
ok, thanks for your help!
My database is now deleted but now I am getting this message:
Already Installed
You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.
Check to see if the database still exists.

If you have a wp-config.php file, rename it to wp-config.php.old.

Have you tried using another browser? Another machine?
yes.
Do you have access to server error logs? Is there anything in there that might help?
You must log in to post.
