  • FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the wp-content/plugins/sociable folder.

So I tried using FileZilla to log into my WordPress and got these error messages:
    Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

    Any suggestions?

Contact your hosts to confirm your FTP details and check that the FTP server is up & running.

Has FileZilla worked with the current configuration previously on the same computer? If not check with your hosting company that you have used the correct settings

I have gotten logged into FileZilla now, how do I find the wp-content/plugins/sociable folder to delete?

What hosting company do you use?

See if you can find and navigate to /public_html using FileZilla

    and then
    /home/robertco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/

Sometimes those folders are inside other folders with unusual folder names…
