I have been using word press through a web hosting service for a couple of years to host several blogs. Then suddenly three weeks ago I was no longer able to log in. Inputting my screen name and password into the log in screen and entering it simply provided me with the log in screen over again and again and again. If I put in an incorrect password I get an incorrect password message which is logical. I have spent much time with my web hosting service on this issue but they cannot help me fix the problem because it is not with their system. I have completed all updates as my web host has requested and have no special bells or whistles on the blogs just basic blogs, some using the default themes provided and others using imported themes. They had all worked well in the past and all stopped at the same time. I have since started another blog, via the web host, as a test and can log in with no problem. I created this account just to get into the forum and hopefully find a fix. Can someone at word press help me get my blogs back. I cannot log into any of them. This problem happened with all blogs at the same time. The bogs are operating on version 2.6.1 except for one that I reverted back to 2.6 to see if it would resolve the problem. It did not.

Delete your WordPress cookies and empty your browser cache and try again.

Have deleted the cookies and emptied cache located in the browser several times already. Did not help.

This problem happened with all blogs at the same time.

    A couple possibilities:

It is a problem with your web host.
    Your blogs/server have been hacked.

Did you set your custom keys in wp-config.php?

Since I don't know what the custom keys are I doubt that I would have set them. As I said in my original post I have spent a lot of time working with my web host and they assure me it is not a problem on their end. I will investigate the custom keys settings. Sorry for having so little knowledge of the inner workings of WP. Until this problem arose it was working fine.

Here's more info on secret keys:

    Secret keys (2.6)

They are used to help secure your WordPress login cookies.

Investigated "Secret Keys" and generated new ones which were put into the wp-config.php for one of my blogs, made no difference. I still cannot log into my blogs. Any more ideas?
